Writing practice for writers.
When the model writes the first draft, the blank-line moment stops happening — Senwitt hands it back to you daily.
Is writing practice useful for writers?
For writers, the AI shift is not that prose got worse — it is that the order changed. Instead of facing an empty line and choosing the opening yourself, you now prompt, then react to what comes back. Reacting is editing; it is recognition work. The harder act, generating the first true sentence from nothing, is the one that builds and keeps voice, and it is exactly the one that gets skipped when ChatGPT drafts first. Senwitt puts that moment back on your calendar.
A writing rep, for writers
A rep shows a one-line brief — 'open a piece about a town that lost its only bookshop' — and a tight character cap. No model, no suggestions. You write the first line yourself, then cut it to fit. The constraint forces a choice you would otherwise hand to autocomplete: which word carries the weight, and which goes.

How the habit fits a writers day
The daily Set folds two or three short drafting reps into seven minutes, so a writer takes the blank-line moment before the deadline day swallows it. It sits beside the work, not on top of it — small enough to do before opening the document you actually owe someone, and repeatable on the days you would otherwise only edit AI prose.
Questions writers ask
- Does the writing rep grade my style? No. There is no style score and no claim that the app improves your prose. A rep gives you a constraint and a blank space; you do the drafting. The value is in repeatedly doing the generation yourself, not in a rating the app hands back.
- Why drafting under a character limit? Constraint forces the choice writers outsource most: which word stays. A tight cap turns a vague sentence into a decision. It is a small, concrete rep of the editing-under-constraint craft, done by you rather than by a model rewriting on request.
- Isn't editing AI output also writing practice? It is real work, but it is mostly recognition — judging text that already exists. Generating the first line from nothing is a different act, and it is the one that fades when AI drafts first. Senwitt targets the generation rep specifically.

Not brain training. Brain exercise.
Senwitt is a daily brain exercise app, not a brain training program. We do not claim to improve general cognition, prevent cognitive decline, or treat any condition. Independent scientific consensus — the 2014 Stanford Center on Longevity / Max Planck Institute statement signed by 70 neuroscientists, the 2016 Simons et al. review in Psychological Science in the Public Interest, and the FTC's 2016 settlement with Lumos Labs — has concluded that “brain training” claims are not supported by the evidence. Senwitt is built on a different premise: skills you actively practice get sharper; skills you stop practicing fade.
